Managing Food Allergies

Our free online course, “Managing Your Child’s Food Allergies,” will guide you through what you need to know after a new food allergy diagnosis. This program is for parents, grandparents, and caregivers.
This self-paced online course will help you understand the basics of managing your food allergy while keeping them safe and healthy.

In this course, you will learn:

  • How doctors diagnose food allergies
  • Different types of food allergies
  • What is anaphylaxis, how to treat it, and how to avoid it
  • How to find safe foods
  • How to handle food allergies outside the home

This course is presented by David Stukus, MD, a professor of pediatrics in the Division of Allergy and Immunology and Director of the Food Allergy Treatment Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He is board certified in allergy/immunology and pediatrics and a member of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America’s Medical Scientific Council.
