Fraud Alert: Recruitment Scams Using AAFA Logo and Name
We have been made aware of fraudulent job offers and recruiting communications falsely claiming to represent the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. These scams may use our company name, logo, and employee identities to appear legitimate.
Please be advised:
- We do not request payment or fees at any stage of our hiring process.
- We do not ask for sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, banking details, or copies of identification) early in the recruitment process.
- All official communications from our recruiting team come from verified email domains: the most recent scam came from resumesapplication.com, resumesapplication.net, and aafa.online.
- We do not conduct hiring exclusively through messaging apps (such as WhatsApp, or text-only interviews)
If you receive a suspicious job offer or communication claiming to be from AAFA, we strongly encourage you to not respond or share personal information.
You can report suspected fraud by forwarding the message to: gro.afaa@ofni
We take this matter seriously and are actively working to stop these fraudulent activities. Thank you for helping us protect our community.
