CSU & You
Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU), previously known as chronic idiopathic urticaria (CIU), is a form of chronic hives with no known cause. CSU can cause severe itching that lasts many months – and even years – and can be difficult to diagnose. Symptoms can come and go. CIU can be unpredictable and differ from person to person.
To raise awareness of this little-known condition and develop helpful resources, AAFA has teamed up with:
- Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation
- Genentech
- Emmy Award-winning comedienne Vicki Lawrence
Vicki is opening up about her experience with CSU. Together, we present CSU & You, an educational campaign for patients with CSU.
Our awareness campaign includes resources such as a discussion guide and symptom tracker.
